Ran Out of Your Psychiatric Medication While Visiting Japan?

If you are visiting Japan and have run out of your regular medication, we may be able to prescribe a limited supply after assessing your situation, in accordance with Japanese medical regulations.

Please note that not all medications can be prescribed in Japan, and a consultation does not guarantee a prescription.

This service may be appropriate if:

• You are traveling in Japan and have run out of a medication you regularly take

• The medication was legally prescribed in your home country

• You are seeking short-term assistance, not ongoing treatment

🔹 Situations We Cannot Assist With

We are unable to assist with:

• Medications not approved in Japan

• Controlled substances or medications with a high risk of dependency

• Requests without a medical consultation

• Emergency or life-threatening conditions

🔹 What We Can Do

• Conduct an online consultation in English (via Zoom), provide medical advice and issue a prescription for up to 7 days, which can be sent to a pharmacy near you

1. Please choose a pharmacy where you would like to pick up your medication. It would be preferable to select a larger pharmacy, as they are more likely to have sufficient stock available.

• The consultation fee is ¥8,910 (JPY), which is the same rate charged to Japanese patients who receive care without using health insurance in this clinic.
• This fee includes the medical consultation and prescription issuance, if applicable. Please note that medication costs at the pharmacy are not included.
• Payment is accepted by credit card via Square.
